Climbing
Climbing center Bruneck
The climbing center Bruneck has a lot to offer with its 2.500 m² climbing space, big boulder room and a huge overhang outside. Along with the spacious lead, top rope and boulder areas there several training opportunities, like the standardized speed route with timing (14 m), a campus board, belay tools and wall that can be individually arranged for climbing.
High wire garden Kronaction
Directly by the Issinger Pond between Kiens and Pfalzen is where you find “Kronaction”- South Tyrol’s biggest high wire garden with over a 100 stations. Equipped with helmet, safety belt and set of fixed rope you go up into the airy height of 14 meters. Parcours in all difficulty levels are available to the whole family and the new “Human Sling Shot” guarantees even more fun and action.
Rafting and Canyoning
Kiens is the ideal starting point for rafting and canyoning tours. Right there you are also offered kayak and canoeing courses. Ask businesses in the close surroundings. Trained boot coxswains are ensuring your security and provide equipment, so that each tour is guaranteed to be a safe adventure.
Or let the trained canyoning guides guide you safely through the beautiful waterfalls. Equipped with a diver suit, helmet and appropriate shoes, you can rope down and slide over smooth rocks, swim with the stream and dive into deep pools. You are in for one of a kind nature experience.
Paragliding and Tandemflights
The ideal flight conditions and the breathtaking panorama made paragliding at Kronplatz a tradition. The beauty of this sport is also that you don’t have to do it all yourself. During a paragliding tandem flight a trained pilot is steering the double-seated paraglider and all you have to do is just run along for few meters during take-off and landing, only to be floating up in the air over the Puster Valley a few moments later.
The Freeride Trail Herrensteig at Kronplatz
The „Herrensteig“ is a very special attraction for mountain bikers and free riders. On their way from Kronplatz in 2.275m altitude to its end in Reischach, they make a distance of a total of 8 kilometers, which is 1.300m altitude meters loaded with action. The trail features wooden, challenging chicanes and daring jumps. Varied alternative routes branch off from the original route.
Cycling
Starting out in Kiens, you can choose between countless cozy tours for the whole family, and choose between racing bike tours. Puter Valley offers a huge cycling road net to all friends of the cycling sport. The cycling tour on the cycling road of Puster Valley in the direction of Bruneck or Brixen is an unforgettable, beautiful experience for any age.

The cycling road of Puster Valley from Mühlbach to Lienz
The Puster Valley cycling road leads from Mühlbach to Lienz in South Tyrol, and measures a total of 105km, where as the difference in altitude is only 500m, which makes it perfect for beginners and families with children. If the road home is too hard, you can return to the starting point of your bike tour by train.
From Mühlbach to Bruneck, from Bruneck to Innichen and from Innichen to Lienz – these are the most common stations of the whole route. However, you can access the cycling road from any of the towns between Mühlbach and Lienz.
Swimming
Cron4 – The wellness paradise in the heart of Puster Valley offers five different pools, “Funpool”, “Activepool”, “Solepool”, Sportspool and Baby pool - and a 75m water slide, that guarantees fun and relaxation for the entire family. The sauna part spreads over a spacious 3000 m². Thirteen different ways to sweat can be found in the 6-Pearls World Sauna. Amongst other things it offers quiet resting rooms in different interiors, Kneipp treatments, thorn house with foot baths and creation of steam by specialists in regular time spans.
Natural Pool Issinger Weiher
The pool can be found at about 1000 m above the sea level in Issing, a small town between Kiens and Pfalzen. The popular natural pool is not only one of the few natural lakes in Puster Valley, it’s also one of the last pond biotopes in South Tyrol. It’s the natural, untouched and well groomed ambience that offers the guests a special experience of swimming in nature.
